Sale of the speech aid under the current name of SERVOX. Further development, improvement and supra-regional sales of the speech aid.
1965
After many years of effort, the acknowledgement of the SERVOX speech aid is successful. The assurance and constant improvement of the livingstandard of our patients is fundamental to this.

First considerable foreign activities. International distribution of the SERVOX speech aid.
1985
Ingrid Bartmann joins the management of Dr. Kuhn & Co.
1987
Intonation is integrated into the SERVOX speech aid. As a result, the post-operative voice of the patients sounds much more natural.
1988
Dr. Kuhn & Co. takes over the company Hassheider Medizintechnik KG. Creation of a patient-oriented supply scheme with medico-technical devices and aids, cannulas, suction and inhalation devices and items of daily need for patients who have had their larynx removed.
1990
Both companies merge into SMT Servox-Medizintechnik GmbH. The SMT-range is distributed throughout Germany.
SMT creates the I.R.L. (Institute for rehabilitation of laryngectomy patients). The aim is to provide individual advisory service and care for laryngectomy patients and their families as well as to give them logopedic support at home and accompany them therapeutically in coping with the illness.
Inclusion of new business fields in the areas of enterostoma and enteral nutrition, stoma-care in case of artificial bowel or bladder outlet and provision of malnutrition patients with enteral feeding by specialized nurses in homes for the elderly as well as at home.
2000
SMT Servox-Medizintechnik GmbH becomes certified according to QMS - Quality management system DIN EN 9001 and 46001 (documentation and management of customer-oriented quality criterias) as well as the Medical-device-law is introduced.
Spin off of the SMT Servox-Medizintechnik branch from Madaus AG and transformation of the company into SERVOX AG. Securing of the medical and technical development of the company, and creation of a flexible patient-oriented sales team. SMT develops into a leading service-provider on the health market.
2002
Takeover of a REHA provider, now named VITALMED GmbH, from insolvency is the first step towards becoming a full-range-provider.
2004
For the first time, German patients have to pay additional fees for health aids. SERVOX AG gets involved in lobby work and fights for the interests of the patients. Certification according to new Quality management system DIN EN 9001:2000 and DIN EN ISO 13485:2003.
2007
Demerge from the Madaus Pharmaceutical Group and change of company form into SERVOX GmbH.
